Selected Statistics from the "Yearbook"
The National Statistics Centre under the Committe for Planning and Investment has published the Statistical Yearbook summarized the basic statistics about the socio-economic development with the objective to reflects the achievements of the socio-economic development in the Lao PDR undr guideline of the party and the government of the Lao PDR that led the country progressively from the recent success creatively, and another objective is to serve as background for researching, planning or as general knowledge to all readers on the various sectors.
We have made many attempts to collect a completed data, but practically we could not fully achieve this goal. Therefore, some data have been estimated according to data sets accumulated for many years in order to examine the issues in a more adequate way.
